Meet Debbie Hoge Brown 🐇🤍 in her own words⁠

Raised in a military family as the oldest of 5, Debbie`s journey began in South Georgia — where she stepped into the fashion and gift industry at just 18 years old. She worked at a specialized boutique in South Georgia for 3 years before moving into banking for 9 years — where she was asked into creating a sales program, recruiting employees, and even overseeing the dress code. Such a joy!⁠

From there, life took her on an incredible adventure — selling gifts and apparel, and feeling like Alice in Wonderland at her very first Atlanta gift show. That was her first life — and what a life it was! 🌟⁠

Then came her bold new beginning. Debbie packed up and moved to North Carolina with her daughter, ready to start fresh. She planted deep roots here — getting involved in her church, entertaining friends, and building community. And it was here in NC that traveling the world and experiencing life in ways she never imagined truly took place! ✈️⁠

About 13 years ago, love found her again when Chris Brown came into her and her daughter`s lives. Together they built a beautiful home filled with our families, laughter, a koi pond, gardening, going to the gym, and grandchildren whom love their PawPaw with everything they have. ⁠

Then came one of her greatest battles — breast cancer. But true to who she is, Debbie worked through it every single day, stayed grateful, and came out on the other side stronger than ever. She retired with love and grace, soaking up every blessing life had to offer.⁠

Then one day, after retirement, Debbie walked into Jack Rabbit — simply looking to pick out a few of her favorites as a customer. Bobby saw something special in her and asked if she`d be interested in assisting him in the boutique.⁠

She said yes — and the rest is history. Here she is, 3½ years later, bringing her warmth, her decades of experience, and her whole heart to every single customer who walks through the doors of Jack Rabbit.⁠

She didn`t walk in to shop. She walked in to stay.⁠
